Verkehrs-Consult Leipzig (VCL) GmbH is an experienced engineering office, established in 1994, operating as a service provider of a broad range of planning, construction supervision, controlling, operating and consulting services for both public and private public transport organisations in Germany and abroad, as well as transport companies and public institutions. The VCL GmbH is an independent company within the BLIC-Group.

Through the intensive cooperation with the company of the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) GmbH, the VCL is closely involved in the tasks of operational management of a transport company. As a consequence, it is familiar with technical and organisational necessities and is able to offer its customers individual and tailored solutions. With its know-how and practical experience VCL has actively supported extensive transformation and restructuring processes with regard to the requirements of the market.

Professional management and extensive qualifications of 25 employees serve to guarantee reliability, effectiveness and economy of the services provided to the customers.

The activities of VCL are based upon two fields of business:

VCL places great emphasis on the fulfilment and continuous further development of its quality claims. Since 2004 it has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 for all business fields. In the years 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 recertifications of DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 were carried out. In February 2018 and March 2019, VCL GmbH was certified according to DIN ISO 9001: 2015.
